Your voice as a path to recovery

Your voice as a path to recovery

Recovery from trauma is not a straight line—it’s a journey that unfolds in layers. Before we can approach the deeper wounds, our brains and bodies need to get out of survival mode.

That's what we focus on.

Unpacking Survival Mode

After trauma, your brain and body can feel stuck in fight/flight/freeze. Some days, you're in overdrive—on high alert, anxious, and tense.

Other times, it's the opposite—you feel numb,  drained, or like you're just going through the motions.

Small triggers can feel overwhelming, as if the trauma is happening all over again.

This is survival mode.

Reprocessing Our Memories

If survival mode has taken over your life—or it’s all you’ve known—Rebound’s Storytelling Sessions can help you take back control.

These guided sessions are designed to help you gently reprocess the traumatic memories that keep you stuck in the exhausting cycle of hyperarousal and numbness.

Finding Balance and Control

By calming your nervous system, you can start responding to life’s challenges with calm, clarity, and patience—and show up fully, not just for yourself, but for the people you care about most.

Rebound's goal is to help your brain and body feel safe. That way, you can access deeper levels of healing—on your terms.

"With work, home, and everything else on my plate, finding time to focus on myself felt impossible. Rebound gave me a way to start healing—on my time and in a way that fits into my life."
